I would like to start by saying thank you for all you wonderful and inspiring birthday wishes last week! I can't even begin to tell you how much it means to me, hearing well wishes from friends, family and sometimes complete strangers. Thank you so much for making this day even more special for me!
If you know me even remotely, you probably know that I don't really make a big deal out of my birthday. Though what I may do on my birthday changes every year; sometimes I have a simple little dinner at home, other times I might travel to a favourite restaurant for lunch.
Another perk of having small gatherings, is that I get to spend my birthday with those nearest and dearest to me. Though, a pretty awesome perk of it being my birthday last week was receiving some of my wish listed presents! Patience is definitely one of my virtues, so I have waited at least a couple week before I shared with you some of my favourite gifts from this year:
